Yoga Instructor

Alexa has been a elementary teacher and youth sports coach for the past five years. She’s also
been an athlete and fitness enthusiast her whole life. As a child, she was in countless sports,
and went on to run cross country and track in high school. She also ran collegiately at St. Ben’s.
After college, she got into running marathons, before finding her newest passion – yoga!

“Yoga at first was a way to taper and recover; however, I quickly discovered that yoga is so
much more!! Fast forward 6 years, and I still cannot get enough of it! Any opportunity I have
to teach yoga to others (flow, restore, sculpt, kids) makes my heart full. I hope to share this
passion and joy with you too! NeuLife is such a wonderful community of women wanting the
best for one another, and it is a perfect place to practice yoga alongside other awesome ladies.

Alexa currently lives in Maple Grove, MN with her husband. When she is not practicing yoga,
you can find her traveling, reading a book, or spending time with family.

​Jill graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Following school, she worked at an elite sports performance facility where she was a personal trainer and bootcamp instructor. With a passion for people and exercise, Jill decided to open NeuLife Wellness. Since opening in 2012, she has gained knowledge and understanding in women's health, weight loss, exercise rehabilitation, prenatal/postpartum and sports-specific training. Jill is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

Jill grew up in Waconia, MN and loved being active and playing sports, including volleyball, soccer and pole-vaulting. Jill met her husband Lance while studying at Bethel University. They married in 2010 and now have 3 wonderful children.

AJ Johnson

Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor

​Hi, I'm Ashley, but you can call me AJ. I have been around sports and fitness my entire life. Youth sports to college softball, I was your typical jock who let a sport become her identity. The problem with that was when my playing days were over, I thought I lost who I was. Thus began the search for a new passion. Fast forward three years, I had my first real taste of personal training and soon fell in love with it. Fitness is something I geek out about, so to be able to share that knowledge and help someone change their life in the process was where I found the fire again. My goal is to help women realize the mental, social, economical, and physical barriers they put between themselves, who they want to be, and what they want to accomplish. Once those barriers are identified, it's about empowering them with the tools and knowledge to break down their barriers and create long lasting change. Strong women make the world a better place :)

Nicole Stanek

Nicole has enjoyed training a vast array of clients over the years. She typically works with clients who are seeking weight loss, muscle gain, mobility, rehabilitation, yoga practices and stretching. Her background is in Psychology, which helps promote behavior changes for clients to ensure healthy habits stick and allows clients to achieve lasting results. She encourages clients to live healthy and active lifestyles and to practice good nutrition on a daily basis. She thoroughly enjoys meeting new clients and taking on new challenges.

Education: University of Wisconsin La-Crosse, Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Certifications: NASM Certified Personal Trainer. NASM Weight Loss Specialization. CPR/AED Certified.

Whether a client has a pre-existing condition or is unable to perform a specific exercise, we will always modify a plan to meet the specific needs of our clients. We love having the opportunity to help our clients live a happier and healthier life through exercise and health.”

Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor

Sami grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA where she had a strong passion for competitive sports, especially in swimming. This drive earned her an opportunity to receive an athletic scholarship at the University of North Dakota where she completed her lifelong dream of being a college athlete. She found her way through school and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Community Nutrition. Sami knew that she wanted to help others live a healthy and fit lifestyle. In her search to find how she would do this, she soon went on to get her Masters in Science in Healthcare Communication at the University of St Thomas. After graduating, she found herself in positions where she knew she was meant to do more. One of her favorite things to do is be there to encourage every single person she meets to live their best life. Becoming a personal trainer has helped her achieve this. She hopes continue to see others find their confidence in themselves and truly grow into a strong and empowered individual. She has no doubt she will accomplish this.
